Change orders are one of the most disputed issues between owners, contractors, and subcontractors. Change orders are an amendment to the construction contract which usually change the contractor (or subcontractor’s) scope of work. As a result, these change orders usually cause increases in time, work, and cost, to a project.
Our construction attorneys are well-versed on change orders and have seen many of the types of issues that arise, or could arise, from change orders. They are available to review, consult, and advise on change orders during a current project or how to best mitigate potential issues in the future.
