Mr. Caditz grew up on Mercer Island, Washington and attended the University of Washington where he received an economics degree and his law degree.
Professional Overview
Mr. Caditz represents public and private owners, prime contractors, subcontractors and design professionals. He is Past Chair of the Construction Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association and past Chair of the City of Mercer Island Design Commission. Mr. Caditz is a frequent speaker at construction industry seminars and has lectured on construction related subjects including competitive bidding, claims and lien and bond rights. He is a co-author of the AGC of Washington Lien and Bond Claim Handbook and the Construction Lien Section of the Washington Real Property Deskbook.
Before joining Schlemlein Fick & Franklin, Mr. Caditz practiced law in his own firm at Hedeen & Caditz PLLC for 22 years. Prior to that he was a partner at Schwabe William Ferguson & Burdell, and at Ferguson & Burdell.
